Ability to disable DMs by group

I'd like to be able to create a lower ticket subscription offer where DMs are disabled so customers are forced to post on the channel. This will allow engagment to increase and ability to build an FAQ that point to the post rather than answering the questions over and over again in the DMs.
Note, it should be if member is in this group, DM access is disabled no matter what other groups they are in. and no, I wouldn't like to disable DMs across the board, higher paying clients should still have DM access. 😊

isolated group members to not be able to DM members from other groups despite having access to a common channel

I realize that when isolated group members have access to a shared/common channel with other group members, they are now able to send them a DM. I'm happy with both my paid & free (isolated) members having a shared general channel (which operates like a news feed in a facebook group) where everyone can discuss common themes, ask questions, etc. but at the same time, I also want to safeguard my paid members from potential spammy free members. And, this is especially important as my community is primarily meant to be a safe space (for my paid members) but I also want to have a general discussion channel where everyone can come together to discuss important topics (like a news feed on facebook) but with the protection of not being able to message anyone directly (like on FB, you can only DM someone if they are friends with you in the platform). Thank you

Ability to set up private messaging among users, giving permission to do so selectively by administrator, so not all users can message each other. Not all members should be able to message all members. That can lead to spamming by members.

Adding point system (gamifying) to earn the ability to DM is also a good addition which would encourage new users to interact on the feed

Nick Barba please consider this for the new roadmap 🙏 Both the fact that when DMs are turned of not even admin can DM or be DM'ed and the fact that we still can't moderate who (people/groups) can DM other people is a huge painpoint.
