Automatically open Voice Room video in full screen on join

Users frequently join Voice Rooms and think nothing is happening. The video is either hidden or reduced to a small, easy-to-miss preview, depending on where they join from. Currently, the Voice Room video only appears as a small preview in the top-right corner—and only if the user is already on a channel page. If they join from an Events page, a Course, or a Resource, no video appears at all. This creates a confusing and unintuitive flow: users must be on desktop, navigate to a channel, notice the small preview, and manually expand it. This friction leads to frustration and significantly reduces Voice Room adoption. We actively promote community-led Voice Rooms to keep conversations inside the platform (instead of external tools like Zoom), but the current experience makes participation harder than it should be. We’re also seeing inconsistent behavior across browsers, with Chrome displaying more video feeds than Safari. Requested improvements: Automatically surface the Voice Room video regardless of where the user joins from Open the Voice Room in full screen by default Improve cross-browser consistency, especially on Safari These changes would make Voice Rooms easier to understand, easier to join, and far more engaging for communities.

Feature Request: Email Branding & Image Support Current Issue: As a community builder charging for premium events and memberships, I need professional branded email communications. Currently, Heartbeat's automated emails (event confirmations, workflow emails, notifications) lack essential branding capabilities. Specific Missing Features: Email Header Images/Logos - No way to add company logos to automated emails Custom HTML Email Templates - Limited to basic text formatting Image Attachments - Cannot include images in workflow emails or notifications Brand Color Schemes - No colour customisation for email layouts Business Impact: Trust & Credibility Issues: Unbranded emails appear unprofessional, especially for paid events Anti-Spam Concerns: Generic emails more likely to be flagged or ignored Brand Inconsistency: All other touchpoints are branded except critical email communications Customer Experience: Premium pricing demands polished communication throughout the journey Use Cases: Event confirmation emails with branded headers and ticket details Course welcome sequences with logo and brand colours Membership confirmation emails with professional appearance Workflow-triggered communications that maintain brand identity Suggested Solution: Email template builder with support for header images, custom colours, and basic HTML formatting - similar to what's available in most email marketing platforms. This would significantly improve the professional presentation of Heartbeat-powered communities, especially those monetising through events and memberships.

I was also told by the bot What you can do today (on a Growth or Business subscription) is: Set up a custom email domain so emails send from your domain (white-labelling)… My Response, it should be available to all levels as branding and professional aesthetics in building a community are important poor vissuals = poor uptake of membership =less people join= less money and upgrades from community owners. Please don’t take this the wrong way I love the platform and what can be done with it one of the reasons I have come over from Mighty Networks and will be stopping using Facebook for the network. just some tweaks like this would be better experiance for the users and the admins. 😊

GMT / BST Timezone Enhancement Request

I schedule regular classes in the UK for international students and initially set them to GMT timezone. I discovered that GMT doesn't automatically adjust for British Summer Time transitions, which caused scheduling confusion for my students. While I understand GMT is technically correct as a fixed timezone, it would be helpful if there was either: A clearer indication in the timezone picker that GMT doesn't adjust for daylight saving Or consideration for GMT to automatically handle BST transitions since many UK users expect this behaviour I've switched my events to 'Europe/London' timezone which works perfectly, but this might help other UK-based community builders avoid the same confusion. Thanks for considering this feedback.

Evendeals Integration

Evendeals is a purchasing power parity tool that helps us sell GLOBALLY. They do this by creating promo codes for specific countries to give them a discount according to their purchasing power! The visitors country is automatically detected and the relevant promo code is then displayed on the banner for them. Learn more at : https://www.evendeals.com/ A direct integration with them through the API would be GOLDEN! Another community platform has the ability to have this occur but it’s manual - the discount codes on Stripe have to be created manually. A DIRECT integration through the API would mean the discount codes would be created automatically! This means less works AND the codes can be regenerated automatically to prevent abuse! We NEED this! 🤓
