Admins and Moderators need an edit thread/post option

At present, all HB users can only edit threads and posts that they have made themselves. However, Admins and Moderators do not have the ability to edit other user’s threads and posts. One of the key responsibilities of Admins and Moderators is to ensure that all community users are posting content that meets with the culture and code of conduct/anti-harrassment statement of their community. When a member posts something that is a violation of the community rules, or may contain a small element that is deemed inappropriate or unsafe for other users to view, Admins and Moderators do not have the ability to edit that content as necessary. The only options available at present are: The entire thread/post (including all replies) has to be deleted, which is unnecessary if only one word, a phrase, or an image/link needs to be removed/amended and the rest of that thread/post has value to others; Or a DM needs to be sent to the user explaining the issue and asking them to edit their own post, which results in a delay whilst waiting for action to be taken, and risks other users viewing that content in the meantime. Providing Admins and Moderators with an edit option in the three dots pull down menu of each thread/post would enable content to be moderated quickly and appropriately, thereby removing unnecessary distress or risk to the rest of their community.

Feature Request: Pulse Chat Organization

As a power user of Pulse, my chat history grows significantly over time and becomes difficult to navigate. I'd love one or both of the following: Folders/subfolders — the ability to organize chats into named categories (e.g., Branding, Launch, Courses) for easier retrieval. Search — the ability to search past chats by keyword or date so I can quickly locate a specific conversation without scrolling through a long list.

No New Content Indicator in Sidebar

Hello, I have uncovered something extremely important and can not believe that HB does not have it....When a new post is made in a thread channel, there's no visual indicator on the channel name in the sidebar to let members know new content is there — no dot, badge, or unread count. Members only find out via email or push notification, which means anyone who's already in the app has no way to know activity happened without manually checking each channel. This makes it hard to drive engagement inside the platform. A simple unread indicator per channel (similar to what most messaging and community tools have) would make a meaningful difference. Would love to see this prioritized.

Correct Image Placement on Mobile

I'd like to request an improvement to image placement in posts on the mobile app. When I place an image at the top of a post on desktop, it appears correctly there on desktop—but on mobile, the image is moved to the bottom of the post. Since many community members primarily use Heartbeat on their phones, this makes it difficult to create posts with a strong visual introduction. It would be really helpful if images appeared in the same position on mobile as they do on desktop, or if creators had an option to control image placement on mobile. Thanks for considering this!

supress the ability for students to join a zoom event before or after the event

it s very annoying because people keep clicking on zoom links in event before the event itself as they want to check if they are at the right place after the event (even though) the link souhldnt display each time it triggers a recording each week i have to delete tons of useless recording in my zoom account

Ability to hide the button " view recording " after a zoom event

My students always go on "view recording" from the agenda to see old events recording. But i edit this rough zoom videos to create more tailored video and i put them in my courses or ressources. Even with a link in the event telling my students where to go to watch the replay, they just click on the big "view recording" button. They are surprised not to be able to watch it ( i delete zoom files frequently) and ask question because they pay for the ability to rewatch events. it’s time consuming and creates frustration for my clients. Can you please give us the ability not to show this button ?

I can't see users post, comments on their profil, how I will find what they share? this is chaos to find what they post, clearly if you're not bringing this future I will need to move another platform, this is sucks, sorry guys, I saw young people behind this app and I was like lets go with them cuz they will upgrade fast, but I guess I was wrong. I like your platform cuz you have a voice channel which others dont, but I cant stay just for this sorry. Look how different profile view with one of other platform

Feature Request: Native Lead Capture Forms integrated with the HB CRM

As Heartbeat rolls out its CRM, I'd love to see native lead capture forms included as part of that ecosystem — similar to Google Forms in simplicity, but fully integrated with HB contacts and automations. Specifically, this would allow community builders to: Create standalone opt-in forms (name + email) to embed on external sites or share as direct links Have form submissions automatically captured as HB contacts, attributed to a specific offer, resource, or campaign Trigger Workflows from a form submission (welcome email, freebie delivery, nurture sequence) Connect the form to an existing spreadsheet or export contacts easily Right now, capturing leads outside of the Email Gate Resource requires routing through external tools like Google Forms, which creates a disconnected workflow. A native form builder tied to the HB CRM would make Heartbeat a true all-in-one platform for community builders who are also actively building their email lists.

Feature Request: Text color options in document editor

It would be incredibly helpful to be able to change the color of text within Heartbeat documents — including a custom color picker (hex code input). This would allow for brand-consistent formatting, visual emphasis, and a more polished reading experience for members, especially for communities with a strong brand aesthetic.

Improvements to member profiles, please!

Admins should be able to create custom fields (free text, single multiple choice, and multi-picklist) for member profiles, based on what kind of information is important to their community. Currently member profiles are very threadbare and unengaging, plus they lack basic information which could spark connections between members.
