Request to Reconsider DM Rules for Starter Plan
Please consider making DM rules available on the Starter plan. As I've been building my educational community on Heartbeat, I've found that DM management is truly a foundational feature for creating a structured, professional learning environment - not just something needed at scale. Currently, this feature being limited to higher plans feels like it treats DM control as a "nice-to-have" scaling feature, when it's actually fundamental to how many communities need to operate from the start. Small educational communities, coaching programs, and professional development groups all need this level of structure regardless of their member count. Would the team consider moving DM rules to the Starter plan? This would make Heartbeat much more accessible for educators and community builders who need professional-grade moderation tools but are just starting out. Thank you for considering this feedback.

Copy workflows when creating new cohorts
Cohort-based courses generate new lesson IDs per cohort, which means all lesson-attached workflows (popups, automations, etc.) are lost and must be manually recreated each time. This is especially painful when workflows contain rich content like GIF/video embeds that can't be easily duplicated. Expected behavior: When a new cohort is created, workflows attached to lessons in the previous cohort should automatically carry over to the corresponding lessons in the new cohort. Customer impact: Creators running recurring cohort programs have to manually rebuild every workflow for every new cohort — error-prone and time-consuming. Missed workflows mean students don't receive key moments (e.g., graduation gift popups).

Move past events to Past Events immediately after they are over instead of waiting
The events on the platform don't immediately move to the Past Events section even when they're done. It would be great if there was a way to change that so that as soon as an event is over, it just moves to Past Events instead of waiting for the day to be over for it to be considered "past event"?

As a community admin, I should be cc'd on any email blasts that I send from my community. If each blast can be visible within Heartbeat (as a Workflow that has ran, for example) that would give me confirmation that the emails were sent successfully. There's nowhere to check what happened to an email blast at the moment.

Community Support Email (more than one)
I’m the community support email recipient for our account. We have different staff running different events. I would love to be able to set different email addresses to receive responses for the events they own. As it is, I have to perform A LOT of air traffic control and figure out what goes where because emails aren’t clearly labeled for what they’re responding to. If someone is running a cohort, they should receive responses for those cohorts and events.

Upcoming Event Box: Show time of event and a link to event details
Currently the "Upcoming Event" box only shows the date of the event and not the time. The only button available is RSVP, but there's no direct link to the event details so one can know if they want to RSVP. Without these, it's often useless. Adding the time and a link to the event would make the event box useful.

Adding First name / Last name fields at Checkout
Is there any way at all we could add First/Last name to the checkout process? I understand you only ask for email to reduce friction but it's a pretty standard field when someone is checking out. This is also for us to better track the purchases (we are using external tools to track the full funnel from our marketing to purchase).

Sign up pages with different logos and different community names.
We have an opportunity to bring possibly 100,000 people into a heartbeat community by combining multiple different associations. Each association would like to share some aspects of the same space whilst having a private space within the community. The private space can be created but sign up pages show the community name and logo. In order to help maintain trust and allow each association to maintain brand integrity they are looking for each sign up page to have their logo and association name. This is a massive opportunity.

Our community used to be on Mighty Networks. I have loved the switch over to Heartbeat but one thing I miss is being able to acknowledge someone for being Supportive. It was a way to engage with community, more regularly, especially when you weren't sure how to put it into words. There were I think 5 core values of acknowledgment we could select from. And I know many of the members in our community utilized it.

Clickable Box Needs for Payment Checkout
You currently have the ability to have customers agree to Terms of Service at checkout, but it displays them. This is not legally adequate. We need a clickable box (an affirmative action) for the customer to click and agree to those linked terms BEFORE they pay.

Automatically open Voice Room video in full screen on join
Users frequently join Voice Rooms and think nothing is happening. The video is either hidden or reduced to a small, easy-to-miss preview, depending on where they join from. Currently, the Voice Room video only appears as a small preview in the top-right corner—and only if the user is already on a channel page. If they join from an Events page, a Course, or a Resource, no video appears at all. This creates a confusing and unintuitive flow: users must be on desktop, navigate to a channel, notice the small preview, and manually expand it. This friction leads to frustration and significantly reduces Voice Room adoption. We actively promote community-led Voice Rooms to keep conversations inside the platform (instead of external tools like Zoom), but the current experience makes participation harder than it should be. We’re also seeing inconsistent behavior across browsers, with Chrome displaying more video feeds than Safari. Requested improvements: Automatically surface the Voice Room video regardless of where the user joins from Open the Voice Room in full screen by default Improve cross-browser consistency, especially on Safari These changes would make Voice Rooms easier to understand, easier to join, and far more engaging for communities.

Postpone button for events
We have events that get postponed all of the time, but don’t need to get canceled. We don’t have the date yet it will be moved to, so perhaps having a postponed button that would notify people who have RSVP’d and then put the event in drafts mode until we are ready.
