Admin, moderator, and group badges or labels

I'd like to see a label by someone's name if they are an admin or moderator. It would help community users to see them in threads.

You can do this with a combination of our new Automated Groups and Badges feature in groups!
Go to Settings > Manage Groups > Create New Group. Select "Automated" under Group Membership and select "Admin" or "moderator" from the Use Template options. On the Visibility Settings page, select "Badge" so this group shows up next to their name in your community. This is one of the many powerful new things you can do with automated groups.

Use roles as badges

The new feature to use Groups as Badges is great — it would be likewise great if we could use Roles as Badges.

Emoji's for groups (like badges)

Ability to allocate an emoji to a group and show that symbol next to a members name in threads. Enables the use of groups as badges / an element of gamification

You can currently see user role when clicking a person's name & expanding their bio. It's shown now next to the group names. Are you wanting the user role label to show up next to their name where they comment, post, etc?

Misty Dorman - Heartbeat Team: hello. Yes, I think that would be really helpful for people to see at a glance, without having to go looking for it. I think it's nice to see when an admin or mod is commenting, advising etc. It's reassuring.

Misty Dorman - Heartbeat Team: next to their name. So that we don't need to say "heartbeat team" but instead have an icon next to the name or something that indicates staff or admin. Seems like you have a need for this as well. 😄

RUSHIT HILA : agree this would be a nice feature.

Would love this as well.

I am aware you could add an emoji to a title of a group, but if they had a separate field for that emoji you could then use those like badges in their name, on their profile etc. Similar to what Circle does with member tags anyway 😉
