Hi its great its here,thankyou...but I keep getting my members saying it doesn't work for them when they click play...it just freezes or for some people it plays but doesn't have sound. Is there a way to upgrade the audio player to be less buggy on mobile devices?

This is my biggest request for the platform -- it'd be a simple but powerful improvement! I run a music community so reducing the amount of clicks and allowing people to easily play uploaded mp3's / wav's from posts / comments / chat interface would improve engagement with that content. Imagine having to click and download just to watch a video that someone shares on social media -- audio deserves the same usability as video. A native audio player can be seen in other community platforms like circle.so and pensil.in. In Pensil you can actually directly record audio for your post/comment which is useful for us. Great platform, and love the ethos, personal touch and community advice! Thx! :)

this is so important for me as well. Uploading audio files is only available on desktop now. I would like for it to be available on the app as well, specially for sending voice memos directly.

@everybody - way to overcome this is to use https://acast.com/ - podcasting solution that can be embeded. Use the "copy player link" button in the share page of acast and embed the player in heartbeat. This way the player will look good in Heartbeat.

This might be a good temp fix to allowing voice messaging too if we could upload voice notes recorded in voice memos

Yes! I offer a lot of meditation audio and not all of it should be downloadable.
