💡 Workflow for people stuck in a course
Adrian Rodriguez
It is well known that the next challenge after someone has purchased a course or signed up for a membership is, in effect, helping them move forward and finish the course(s) and its exercises.
I thought about creating an automation to re-engage people who have gotten stuck or haven't progressed any further in a course.
There doesn't seem to be a filter or way to do this for now, but with the new courses update (amazing) maybe it's possible?
This could be an Engagement Workflow template or, at least, a trigger event that we can choose to send a DM or show a pop-up or notification that helps re-engage users who may be active in the community, but who for some reason have not continued progressing inside courses.
The logic could be something like: "(User) is enrolled in (Course) and has (X days) without completing a module"
Thanks!!!

This is a good one, Amy. A gentle push reminder for 3, 7, 15 day gaps sounds good or even better, we get to choose 3 different intervals in the system.

Here's a general strategy with multiple reminders Google Gemini came up with:
Initial Reminder (1-3 days): A gentle nudge soon after inactivity. Briefly mention the value they're missing and a specific action to take (e.g., "Next lesson unlocks a key strategy! Don't miss out").
Second Reminder (3-7 days): Offer additional support. Briefly explain a benefit they might have missed and offer help (e.g., "Stuck on a concept? Our community forum is buzzing with solutions!").
Final Reminder (7+ days): This one can be stronger. Highlight the risk of falling behind and losing momentum (e.g., "Reminder: Only X days left to access exclusive bonuses!").
