Custom mobile app (each community can have their own app)
Sanket Mankar
Hi, a facility where people can enhance/customize mobile app (on top of the basic version given by heartbeat) and then manage and publish it on playstores, on their own & at their own cost.
Spayee/Graphy gives this facility. (See the attached screenshot)

Best for now would be just to allow access from mobile instead of force-installing an app.
Then people could install as a PWA.

Yes. Kindly refer: https://www.tagmango.com
They have come up with an affordable solution for this. But overall as a community platform HB is way better!
I hope HB comes up with an affordable solution to White labelling and custom apps.

Just a lil bump on this. Heartbeat is still not accessible via the mobile web. Having a PWA or at least just a mobile view would help immensely.

Yes, something like this, I just got a long email from a member threatening to go through their credit card company for a refund because he thought he was being scammed.😂 '...what is Heartbeat Chat???'

With 70% of my members using my community through the app I would love to be able to customize the heartbeat app icon to my own branding. I hope this is coming after the team is done rolling out all the mobile updates 🙏🏼

This!! I would snap this feature UP! We're moving from Honeycommb- and while we love the custom app, the features pale in comparisson. I want you to be able to act as the publisher and just pay for a custom deployment with my own custom icon.

It would be great if we could customize the app icon for Heartbeat. All we need is the ability to share the app with a custom icon or have the download link include our logo on the icon. This is something that has been done successfully with other apps in the past.

The app can be used just fine on a mobile without the need to install app. The problem is that it is forcing all users to install the app. Wish that this could be disabled on settings page.

Branded Mobile Apps

Presently both the Android and iOS apps are branded with Heartbeat. So anyone trying to access a company/brand/product's community from their mobile phone is first redirected to download the Heartbeat app on the Playstore/Appstore.
Requesting the entire engineering team at Heartbeat to help brands publish their white-labelled community app with their official app icons and names.
Thanks in advance 🙏
