I needed to cancel a weekly Q&A due to illness but the only way I could figure out how to do that was to post a message on the main channel and hope people saw it. Ability to cancel/edit a single event seems like a basic feature - very disappointing to see how long people have been asking for this.

I also want to be able to upload the recording after an event but can’t edit individual listings, so have had to create a separate channel for recordings. Clunky.

Wow I can't believe this started in 2023 and they still haven't fixed this in 2026.

I'm finding this super frustrating as well. I have a 3 day event that I want to change the end time, and now I have to delete the whole thing, lose the people signed up, and completely recreate it. Sooo frustrating!!!

I am finding recurring events very frustrating also, to the point where I am considering taking events off the community and running them manually. The automatic notifications are difficult to control and not always accurate, I cannot amend recurring events time/dates, I cannot set them to recur indefinitely and members are finding it frustrating that they cannot choose to RSVP for individual events. Ours is an ADHD community so these issues are causing huge usability issues and confusion constantly. The only option might be to run them manually but that defeats the purpose of using the community.

I'm going to add to this other editing requests. Such as being able to un-confirm from just one instance of a recurring event without having the system automatically un-confirm you for all events.

I love this idea! I hope the HB support team consider this!
