Individual Gamification
Miriam Gitlin
I would like to see non-competitive forms of gamification. In other words, gamification that encourages an individual to keep participating and progressing, but not as compared to others. Points that can be traded in for rewards, stars or other visual ability to see your progress, being able to "level up" based on participation or course completion, bingo boards, etc.

Track the number of member logins (and reward)
I wanted to create a new feature proposal, but this fits in perfectly with that one thx Miriam.
We know it's important for users to return to our platforms regularly.
To continue the gamification logic, it would be great to be able to identify the most active members of the month and give them privileges (badge?).
This could combine presence on the platform, interaction and so on.
I think it's a good idea to integrate it into the "automation" part of the system, simply by including user connection time as a criterion.
There's already time since "non-connection" available and it's great for rewarding those who are present, but it would be interesting to be able to reward them even more.

Skool is using gamification and notifications across communities to drive engagement. I'd love Heartbeat to make gamification a priority.

Any news about this feature? It's at the top of the feedback list! Waiting for a long time!!!!!

Murtaza Bambot Honestly, I prefer Heartbeat over Skool. However, what Skool does exceptionally well is the gamification with leaderboards and levels that unlock courses. The difference in community engagement is quite notable. Will you prioritize this soon?

Lucas Sánchez: totally agree

Lucas Sánchez: Was coming in here to say exactly that. I've just joined a Skool membership it was interesting to live in there and compare it. I'm a Hearty through and through but I love the gamification on Skool. It really is the only best thing about it and I would love to put that in my membership. Thanks Murtaza Bambot

Lucas Sánchez This is like the missing piece to make heartbeat excellent!

Why is this no longer planned?
With options like skool using gamification, this is something my community really needs.
Or accountability daily tasks

I know you guys have yet to start thinking on gamification so here's a use case for you. Recently I joined a program that was supported by an app. The idea behind the app was that one should take specific actions, mindfulness exercises as well as tasks at a certain time (window) each day. The moment you go into the app and complete the action (listen to an audio) you get points. Every day the focus is to reach a certain number of points which are linked to x number of minutes of exercises. When you do, the graph will show you've done well. When you don't you receive a reminder to come back to the app.
I'm building a program with similar accountability steps right now. Some of them are sharing daily actions with your cohort. Others are more personal. I'd love to see some version of the above in Hearbeat.

Hi, I totally agree Heartbeat could do a fabulous job in adding gamification. I am currently going through Marissa Murgatroyd's 12-week Experience Product Masterclass and she explains about The Dopamine Button, where positive noise, celebrations and badges help us humans keep the momentum going. She has a course platform called Experiencify as she calls her courses Experiences (Trademarked) because of the added gamification. There is also a WordPress plugin called GamiPress that will provide lots of ideas on what Heartbeat could implement to help build a cool active community. Thanks for building a great platform.

I second this!
