self-explanatory!
People will see when/where they need to be in their calendar, they don't need to be notified.

This update is not Completed.
This happened today:
I had to change the dates of a recurring event (could only change it manually for each individual occurrence as recurring edits to the date are not possible).
An email was sent for every update and where I had to correct a correction, the emails were sent out again even though the "update guests" toggle remains unchecked.
This is very unpleasant to customers and is a bit embarrassing on my side.
(Also, the emails are still not displaying correctly in Outlook)

It still sends a notification if you change time/date, even if you have "update guests" unchecked. I reported this bug and was told that's how it's intended to work. I would like the ability to not send a notification if I change the time of an event.

I'm not sure when, but this was added a while back:

Today, I got an email when an event was updated. It's one I had RSVPed for in the ♥ of Community group. I'm not sure what was changed on it though.

Yah! I posted this feature request here and it's already in progress if you want to keep track of it here on the roadmap: https://heartbeat.canny.io/feature-requests/p/events-make-email-notifications-for-new-events-optional
