When publishing content to your course, you now have the option to toggle on push & email notifications for your members.

I would also like to add that the notification needs to go out when things are being published - not only when they are new.

I would vote for this to be customizable for the email aspect because otherwise, we might as well just write the email in our own autoresponder instead.

Maybe when you publish a lesson, there could be a "would you like to notify students via email" option to toggle on & then it pops up an editable email to send out. The only thing about this is from a student perspective, they're kind of getting emails from 2 places (your autoresponder & your community platform), so if they unsubscribe somewhere it doesn't affect the other spot & it could get frustrating for them to be adjusting their preferences on multiple emails. I would like to definitely see a push notification option when a lesson is added or updated, but for me I would probably handle the email through my autoresponder & send to all students tagged with access. This also would ensure they all got it (in case there are a few people who purchased through my other payment processor, but never logged into HB yet).
