Yes please! Great tool for admins but I think it's disconcerting for those concerned about privacy, and also quite disheartening for small communities.

Yeah, it stops some people from commenting because they don't even want their names shown.

Would be lovely to hide who is reading the thread too. I have had comments that people find it uncomfortable others can see them reading a thread (the profile pic shows on the posts while someone is reading it (at least when using the desktop app and browser)

Agreed. I think it's hard to build a new community and get people to take the time to post when low numbers on the view count make it look like the post isn't being seen.
