Placeholders To Personalize Docs, Courses, Events, Etc. (merge tags)
"The Teacher"
I think they are called "Placeholders" - but they are the little codes that are used in email campaigns that personalize messages.
For example, in email newsletters, you can write Hello [name] or {name} -- and then the name of the person that you are sending the email to goes into the place of that "placeholder"
I think that this would be great option if we had this in heartbeat, to make notifications more personal, but especially for the messages that a person sees during the on-boarding process and also for courses.

Selling courses/workshops for members means I need to recall their professional ID number for automations (workflows, Zapier, emails, tracking). I am using a work-around by using a question in onboarding, but I still have to manually find that ID # for each individual. The courses are recorded and On Demand.
So, the ability to create another merge.tag would be great.

Yes, in a classroom you can call someone by their name to get their attention. Not so on Heartbeat. Platforms like Gnowbe have integrated this throughout and their engagement statistics show that this personalisation works wonders. I would like to see them available in Threads also.
