Sidebar Links

I've received member feedback that the grey color of sidebar links that are not selected looks more like a "dead link" than an unselected condition.
Can we explore darkening the greyed-out color a bit, or making its hex code another customizable variable?

Hi there,
I was going to put in a feature request for this as well. I'm a UX designer and a low-vision user myself, and I would love to see more color-contrast in the sidebar inactive links, too.
If you check this link: https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/?fcolor=C3C3C3&bcolor=FFFFFF
You'll see that by WCAG standards, that grey color can be difficult to read. Updating the color contrast would help all users, including low-vision users, when accessing the app at home or on the go, in dark conditions, in sunny conditions, and so on!
I would love my community to be more accessible.

Lissy Torres ah good info! Thanks for posting the standard, and appears the Heartbeat team updated to "In Progress" - good to see that.

yes, greyed out like that is a standard on the web. It means "no link" access.

Ed Ferrigan: I've had several members express the same. I didn't realize this, but now that I see it — I can't unsee it!
