In addition to duplicating, the following changes must be done to make events useful.
For classes events should have end date in addition to end time (I have 2-3 day classes)
Recurring events should have a custom recurrence where I would be able to add multiple custom start/end date/time so that I don't re-create event over and over, but add additional dates to the existing event.

I'm not sure if this is planned with duplicating events or if it should be a separate post, but I'd love to be able to see the ability to schedule events to appear in Heartbeat at a later date. Example Use Case: Right now, members of my community have the option to pay month-to-month. My assumption is that if they have their calendars synced, they'd be able add all calls currently available in Heartbeat to their calendar (and therefore attend, even if they stopped paying). The ability to schedule events to "reveal" at a later date (i.e. I might schedule an event for 60 days from now, but only want it to be visible in Heartbeat 30 days prior to the event) would make sure that only current and active members of the community could attend.

Very similar use case, but just different enough to mention. -Start date and end date with time and location is important. -Recurring event on day of week (every thursday), bi-weekly (every other thursday), or day of month (Ex. first thursday of month) -Email and in app reminders to event attendees for all events in series (configurable).
