Add an option to hide the customer-facing Assignments section when no assignments exist.
Currently, we don’t require assignments. However, I unable to disable this feature. Could you please add a way to remove the erroneous empty space and assignment section?

Hey @Enrika Greathouse! Are you referring to hiding the courses section from the left sidebar if you don’t use courses in your community? If so, you can do this by going to Settings > Community Sidebar and toggling off the courses tab!

No, but thank you for your response. We’ve been running cohort ‘Live” courses and now want to offer a on demand course, with no homework or live community interaction. However there isn’t a way to turn off the assignments feature. It either says private (setting expectations that a teacher, or admin will look at this) or public (community facing) we don’t want either of those options. Any ideas or work arounds for this?

I’d recommend structuring all your course content as lessons! When adding content, select Lesson and not Assignment. So long as you don’t add assignments to your course, none will appear to your members.
You’ll know whether content is a lesson or assignment by looking at the icon to the left of the content:
