Allow us to turn a *doc* into "Start Here" *channels* for new users.
The "Getting Started with Heartbeat" and "Codes of Conduct" docs are the first things members should see; but they're buried in docs. Allow us to turn docs into channels so we can nest them under categories like "Start Here." The blue arrows represent where the docs would be in the channels area.

Another option that may be easier to code? Allow us to be able to format in threads the same way we can format text in docs. So add the “+” button in threads so we can add images, videos, bullets etc in the threads too. This way, we can create a doc in docs or doc-style text in threads.

I think once the feature request for creating a home/landing page gets implemented, that will help.

Misty Dorman: that’s an idea! I’d still like the ability to have a section just for onboarding… a landing page will likely contain welcome and “why this community is here” text etc.
