Right now when logged in as Admin Im clueless how to send a DM to a person on the platform. I should be able to click on their name and send a DM. Not sure why this is not there! Frustrating!
Hi Ed! You should be able to start DMs via the Threads tab of your community or by selecting a user's profile. If you don't see the option to start a DM, you likely have DMs toggled off in your community. Go to Settings > General Settings to check for this setting. Make sure "Prevent DMs" is toggled OFF.

Nick Barba: Yes, I think my point was to allow DM's by the administrator regardless if its turned off. Right now its all or nothing. As Admin I don't want others DM'ing but I needed to at the time I wrote this.

Ed Ferrigan: Nick Barba Yes exactly. As the admin, we should be able to keep the DM feature toggled off but still have the ability to DM members ourselves.

I believe you have to enable DMs in order to see the option.
However, enabling means anyone can DM each other. I'd like for the feature to give just the admins ability to DM.
