Community Map

The addition of a Community Map that displays member locations.

As our community grows, it becomes increasingly important for members to connect with others who are geographically close or share similar interests. A Community Map would be an excellent way to visualize and foster connections among members based on their locations.

Feature Details:

• Member Location Display: Each member could have an optional field in their profile to add a general location (e.g., city, state, country). These locations would then be marked on a map.

• Interactive Map: The map should be interactive, allowing users to zoom in and out, click on markers to see member details (name, location, and possibly a short bio), and filter the map based on certain criteria (e.g., location, interests).

• Privacy Controls: To ensure user privacy, the ability to hide or limit location visibility would be essential. Users should have control over whether or not their location is shown on the map.

• Customizable Map Style: Provide customization options for the map, including styles or color themes that fit with the branding of the community.

• Member Search: Along with the map, having a search function to find members by location or other criteria (e.g., common interests, activities) would be helpful.
