Ctrl+K to add a link

In documents, I use CTRL+K (after highlighting text) as a shortcut to then CTRL+V & add a link to the text. When I try this in HB (because it's my habit now for adding links), it does something else, like highlights my URL bar in my browser & then I have to re-highlight my text & do extra clicks to add the link.
Is there a way to make it so this keyboard shortcut will pop up the link area to paste in our link?
