Dashboard for easy navigation / orientation
A single page that springboards them to different parts of the community. (See attached image).
I think it helps people see the value of your community when they see everything in one centralized place.
Also could include a "trending threads" section. Or Activity Feed.

Love this and I would also emphasize the amount of participation they are engaging in. Graphical charts.

Absolutely yes to this! It would be perfect for those with many courses as it can become far to text heavy cant it!
