Desktop notifications
The desktop app doesn't have notifications like slack or discord. I get notifications on the phone app but not on the desktop. Would be good to be able to leave the desktop open in the background just like other apps and get a notification when there is a new post, dm, chat, event, etc.

There is a toggle for desktop app notifications.

Agreed. When I try to enable desktop notifications nothing happens. I spend most of my time on the desktop not my phone.
