Direct Messages Scroll & File Attachments

When a private message gets long, it's impossible to scroll up and down. I can only get to the top or bottom of that message by clicking into the text field and using the up- and down-arrows on the keyboard to navigate.

And when I questioned the value of providing a screenshot with it, I learnt that it's impossible to remove a file from a message once it's been uploaded. There's also no obvious option to close the message, the only way forward seems to post.

As a user writing a longer private message, I want to be able to scroll up and down within the message box using my mouse or trackpad, so that I can review and edit my text more easily without relying on keyboard navigation.

As a user drafting a private message with an uploaded file, I want to be able to remove the file before sending and have a clear way to discard or exit the message, so that I can stay in control of what I send and avoid feeling stuck in an unfinished draft.
