Directory/Listing of categories ans channels

When we create communities with many categories and channels in each category, the experience of the members is not good.

We should be able to choose what categories and channels each member wants to make visible.

I added a feature request some time ago with a possible solution:

Now, I'd like to share another solution.

It could be beneficial to have a directory/listing of categories. The idea is that when we click on a specific category, we can see all the channels in that category as another listing.

The current way of showing categories and channels only works with communities with few categories and channels.
