Word/keyword filtering feature for community moderation
This would allow community admins to block specific words or phrases from being typed in channels, posts, and chat. This is particularly important for their community, which serves caregivers in a sensitive support environment and has a formal Code of Conduct in place. The ability to proactively prevent harmful language would reduce the moderation burden on their facilitator team. Please consider this as a feature request. Responses will come to your email.

Translation bot for posts in threads and around the site would be very helpful. I'm migrating an international community from Facebook to HB and I'm concerned a significant number of members will not migrate due to language issues.

You could integrate re:tune, another appsumo deal.

This is so important to us, and may even be the reason that we may move away from Heartbeat (which I would HATE), to Facebook, or Slack or Discord…. Our members are frontline workers who work with street children all over the world, and MANY of them are not comfortable with English. It would be SO, SO powerful if everyone could write in their own language, but then the readers have a 1-click translate option to read any post/comment in their own reader's language… It is a HUGE barrier that such an option does not exist within Heartbeat, and - according to an IT friend - should not be too insanely difficult to build and roll out. Please will you consider this seriously? THANK YOU!

Meindert Schaap: What is excellent about Slack, and I think Discord offers something like that, is that you can set up your default language, so any message you receive from another member written in another language gets automatically translated into your language.
That would allow us to create worldwide communities, so it's one of the essential features the Heartbeat team could bring us.

I would be very happy when you just CAN translate everything manually in your own language.
