Email notification for new posts/threads (not just mentions/DMs)

Currently, members only receive real-time email notifications for unread DMs and mentions/replies (after 4 hours unread) and event emails. General new-thread/post activity that does not mention anyone is only surfaced via the weekly digest (top 3 threads, sent at most once every 5 days).

Requesting an option to email members when a new post/thread is created in channels they have access to, separate from the digest and from mentions/DMs. This would help smaller or lower-activity communities keep members aware of new content in near real time, rather than waiting for the weekly digest.
