Heartbeat "CRM"

Feature RequestsAdmin + Platform Customization

Would be cool to have a CRM inside Heartbeat located in the left menu section. A way to manage (paid) members if they buy, say, a 8-week program and/or access to a mastermind. A CRM to keep track of this would be valuable.
Note: you can kind of do this inside the "course" feature already but would be nice to be able to create a menu section called "CRM".

    Could be handled via internal integration (not Zapier) to an affordable CRM, rather than try to build it all out. Also possible: integrate with common ESPs. ConvertKit is adding Kit Board for a lite CRM, for example. Other ESPS already build it in.

    Feels like CRM should be tightly coupled with new email functionality.

    I've used a bunch of Zapier automation to sync this info to HubSpot, but it does feel like Im no-coding my way to a one-off solution to a widely-helpful feature.

    I support this too. Would be great if we can see some added details including actions to take with Users. Currently can only see which group they in but can't tell their payment plan. Also you can only change role but not edit group from the user setting.

    Another thing is there is not mass action for user so you have to edit each individually to add / remove from group, change roles, etc. And you can't email them to notify of promos etc, or set a email campaign.

    If it's too difficult to build in, would hope for integration with some CRM tool like ActiveCampaign to facilitate this.

    I would expand on this idea to request for a more expansive built-in CRM than proposed here.
    For example:

    • Answers to private questions in onboarding are currently burried under the All User export csv option. These should be visible to admins.
    • This CRM functionality could be integrated into the Directory, where admins can find more data fields on all members and can slice/dice them.

      I agree with Jeroen that having a way to view the responses from private onboarding questions within Heartbeat would be super helpful!

      George Newton really liked Upcoach and seriously considered it as an alternative to a community platform for teaching, coaching, small groups.
