Instructor task dashboard across all courses

Instructor Task Dashboard Sorely Needed

Provide a single dashboard that pulls in all courses at once for instructors running 8 or so courses concurrently, with a view by course (tree structure style) or by student (students take more than one course). Include a toggle button for completed assignments vs not-completed, and default the view to assignments with private comments not yet seen or those needing approval. The current system is cumbersome: the instructor must check all courses multiple times a day to see whether things have been turned in, which delays responses and lets things get missed. Making all assignments Required + Needs Approval just to trigger an alert is not an acceptable workaround.
