Leader board for Heartbeat courses

I'm currently learning different languages through Duolingo, and one of its features is the leader board. People compete with other learners to be on a certain category, like sapphire, ruby and gold, and there are 3 medal winners plus everyone that finishes with high scores. I think adding something similar to this to the courses section can motivate people to finish the courses.

It also shows people that they are not alone while taking the course, and they can have fun competing with others.
