Link Validation for URL fields in Profile

We need the fields to validate that the urls are actually urls and not usernames or missing a color or slash.
I am running into a huge problem with people either mis-typing their social and website urls or just typing a profile name which results in a broken link for the icon on their profile. I have even had people type in "N/A" which activates the icon, with a broken link.
