This! I've launched my community a week ago and I just now realized that posts in the Feed are in an absolutely random, non-controllable order, and this is crazy… People are missing things just because of this.
And if we pair this with the other issue of not having the number of new posts aside the Channel name, it is really difficult for people to find what's new on the platform when they login.
The oddest thing is that the first post shown in the Feed since days now only had a couple of reactions, while other posts - more recent and with 5-10 recent comments - are shown below… I really don't get it

Weird. In the "Feed" I actually though I saw them in chronological order of when it was posted. I didn't even realize it was like an algo thing… I'd personally love the option to toggle between newest post order and newest activity order. And sure maybe a most engaged option too???

Definitely agree that posts need to be bumped to the top whenever they receive a new comment

Agree it would be great to be able to sort by either newest post or newest activity and choose which one is the default. I Like the most engagement option too

PLEASE we need this done on desktop. So frustrating to have to click through on each "chat" to determine what's new.
