This is by design because people need to be able to switch between their Heartbeat communities on mobile. The custom link on the logo is only for browser when someone is using your custom domain to access your community.

Poo, I accidentally deleted my other comment. Having a link attached to your logo on mobile app is not an option because currently you HAVE to click the logo to switch communities if you're in more than one. On desktop, to community-switch, you can go to each community's URL in a separate tab or window. We can't do that on mobile. When they add ability to put custom links in the sidebar, you can put your website link there. It's not a bug. It's by design so people in multiple communities have a way to switch to them on mobile.

Hi, I'm facing the same problem. This is a bug report and not so much a feature request… see if you can change it on your end?
