Members Registration with Phone Number

I have a lot of aged members who do not use an email address in my country and the process of signing up for one seems complicated to them. However, everybody has a Cell Phone these days and if it were possible to register as a Member for any community by entering a phone number and One-Time Password for authentication. That would be awesome! Just like we use Whatsapp!
