Merge Channels of similar type.

It would be nice to be able to merge channels should they no longer be needed so that we do not lose any of the content within those channels.

I'm specifically looking to be able to merge Threads together or merge chats.

I realize that it wouldn't, and shouldn't, be possible to merge dissimilar types of content.
