Minimize Categories Upon Entering Community

I'd love to see the sidebar not have all the channels showing under their categories upon entering the community. That way, new people would only see the "everyone" channels, but all other categories would only show > as opposed to the down facing carrot symbol with the channels all showing. This way, they can simply look through the list of categories first, and not have to look through a whole list of channels that might distract from the categories.
