Pin Modules and lessons closed once student is done

I teach courses w/ 12+ modules and 15-20+ lesson/assignments. Scrolling through this long, long list is getting irritating and my students are now complaining that we are at Module 6/7. Want to be able to per Course per user per module pin a module closed so that it does not expand every time you go into the course but stays closed until the user releases the pin status
