Notifications for API-Created Channels and Messages

We use Heartbeat’s API to power our AI matchmaking system. When two members are matched by our AI matchmaker, a private channel is created via API calls and the matched members are added to the channel to connect and chat. However, currently, no notification is triggered when the channel is created or when a message is sent. As a result, members often don’t realize they’ve been matched or have a message waiting. This has hampered effective matchmaking. Adding notification functionality here would dramatically improve our match engagement and overall user experience.
