onboarding: allow more than 140 characters per answer
People want to share their stories and 140 characters is often not enough room. This is very important for my community.

I thought the same in the beginning, but in my video walkthrough, I emphasize that they can go to their post in the introductions channel and edit it if they'd like to add more.
In a way, this helps go through the onboarding process faster. The more you need to write, the more time you spend thinking about writing it (especially if it doesn't quite come naturally to you), and then it becomes cumbersome. And the longer the post, the fewer people will read it, too. Especially if they're busy. That said, it really depends on the members.
Still, 160 (like previously on twitter) or 240 could be a good alternative.
