Remove $ sign before tagged events, docs, posts, etc.

I hope that one day when we tag an event with $ that the $ disappears and just the tagged event remains. Not all events cost money and the $ is very deceiving and doesn’t feel good when my community has already paid to have access to the events that I offer.

Thank you for considering this.

Hide $ when linking internal docs

Would love for the $ to disappear after we use it to call up an internal doc.

Yes please. Part of the problem is that $ doesn't make sense as a document link does it?

Not the way @ makes sense for a tag or # makes sense for a channel (due to long history back to IRC of using it that way.)

Is there some historical usage of $ to denote documents that I'm not aware of? It makes the link look like a $variable from code.

      "$" to be hidden

asking for the “$” tag to be hidden after a doc is inserted into a thread comment.

Remove the $ before all internal links would be awesome.

Also can we have the option to remove any emoji too.

    "$😜 Amazing Content" looks odd.

I should add that other platforms use the @ (for people and content) or # to serve this function.
