REMOVE / HIDE "Write a comment..." when a post is [LOCKED]

I lock my 'pinned' posts, so that comments cannot be added below it (New Posts can still be added below that 'pinned' post.) However, despite using this technique, those Users on Heartbeat App accidentally still try to create a new post by attempting to 'comment' on the pinned post. I have determined that these Users are not noticing the circle icon in the lower right corner of the Heartbeat App (to create a new post) because they are being distracted/misled, as they still see "Write a comment…" being shown BELOW all [Locked] posts - despite these posts being [Locked]. We need the Heartbeat DEVs to prevent "Write a comment…" from being shown WHEN a post is [Locked] to improve the User experience - please see screencapture provided for clarification.
