Show or hide channels- user customization

For communities where all or many channels are available to the users, it would be beneficial if the users could customize their view for communities with many categories and channels in each category.
Maybe a window where the users can activate or deactivate categories and channels, so they don't see the ones they are not interested in.
This way, we would make it easier for the users to focus on the channels they want to participate in, and they could make any channel viewable or hidden anytime.
