Specific links in newsfeed not just unders Docs tab

Feature RequestsMobile App

I facilitate 2 free Heartbeat communities. One receives donations and the other has a store. These links are currently under the Doc tab. It would be ideal for these links to be visible in the sidebar for ease of access and to remain top of mind.

    You're mentioning "Newsfeed" and "Sidebar".

But for sidebar this can already be done! I'd wish they provide a nice icon set with it though. If you add a url to the sidebar it now has a (ugly non descriptive) 🔗 symbol.

Jeroen (CTO 👨‍💻) Thank you for responding. I see it on my desktop but not in the app. This is the only place my external link shows up, not in the sidebar.

Terikka Faciane: ah right. I get you now.

Can totally see why you’d want them to be more prominently visible to your community.

Would be great if we could indicate where we’d like it to show up on mobile: The left top hamburger menu or below in the docs session.
