Toggle Categories Private/Public
I would like to setup/plan out a new Category and it's respective channels with content - but I don't want it to be made public whilst I'm building it. I want to create it in 'draft' it's finished.
It would be great if we had the option to make a Category private just like we do with the Channels (public or private) which we can toggle on/off when we're ready to make it public.

If a member does not have access to any channels in a section, the entire section will not appear for that user (as long as upsells are off for the private groups it's available to).
So you can make a section private by making all channels in the section private and only available to admins :)

Nick Barba: That did not work for me. I created a category called Test, with several channels that were private only. Whilst my admin account couldn't see the channels, it could still see the category name.

Janey Carr: Ah yes thank you for the additional context here. So admins will be able to see categories even if they don't have access to the channels inside of them. That is to help admins see that there are more parts of the community that they may not be able to see for permission reasons. Anyone with the user role will not be able to see the category name if they don't have access to any channels inside of the category.

Nick Barba: thanks Nick. Not in my case. In the example above “admin” is a normal user, and “janey” is the admin. I could see the Test category in both, just not the channels in “admin”
