User Profiles: Click User Name to View Post & Comment History

Feature Requests

It would be great if we could click on a user and see a profile page instead of the little popup right now.
In our Facebook group, our coaches and members can click on a user and view their post history.
This allows us and other users to see the person's journey through our program and helps us give more effective feedback and guidance based off what they've previously posted.
Yes, we can use the Search Feature in Heartbeat to find a user's post history, but it's cumbersome, requires multiple clicks, and is not intuitive.
With Facebook and other platforms we can get that information with one click.
So the ability to click a user's name and see:

  1. Their Post and Comment history
  2. How long they've been a member
  3. Their activity in the group
  4. The ability to Follow, Chat, and Start Call,
    Skool does a great job of simplifying what can be done in a Facebook Group.

    It also allows users to have a way to promote themselves, which allows us to state it as a benefit of being in our community. - I.e., "By joining our community, other members can read about you and connect with you."

    We should be able to control what they can add to their profile, but options for text boxes, images, website links, social links, etc.

    Yes, please! 👏🏼 I just spent 10 min trying to find a post by Murtaza Bambot inside The Hearth.

    I intuitively clicked on his profile (even though I knew that heartbeat doesn't have this functionality yet). It's a natural thing in today's apps. I hope they can implement it soon!

    I would also like it if the owner of the profile could pin posts to the top of their feed. For example, when a user first onboards they could be asked to upload their Human Design chart. To be able to pin it to the top of their feed would make it super quick and easy for everyone to access it on the fly. Though TBH, customizable profile fields with attachable images could serve this example better.

    Yup, this is very important! My community is very much about members getting to know each other. A rich user profile is crucial. It's really great to have customizable onboarding questions, but then retrieval of this info is not very helpful. We see all the info muddled into one paragraph, while it could at least be displayed in a clear way, even if is stays a bubble instead of full profile.

    I really like how the Circle.so community platform does it. When you click on someone's name, on the right-hand side you get all that awesome detail but in a very clean, clear way without having to click through to a separate page.

    Completely agree with this. Very important to see what prominent members have posted (as well as show their level of engagement for gamification). I really like this feature in Skool.

    Would also be cool if members could add more to their profile like a portfolio of videos, photos, links, etc.

    Please with opt-in by user, and functionality switch by admin. This way everyone can configure as they please for their community.
