Where in the world - flag icon on profile pic

Feature RequestsOverall Platform

In a growing international community, people wants a quick and easy way to see where the other members are in the world.

We have voted to the request of a world map. Here is an idea to solve the issue in an easier way:

A flag emoji attached to the profile pic would be a more coherent solution, and hopefully a quick fix.

Here is an example to give you an idea (picture)

As an interim solution to the issue, we have solved it with a flag emoji in front of our name, as you can see.

In advance, thank you!

    Important update:

When flag emoji is used in front of the First name it messes with the search engine of Heartbeat. Here is the solution. Flag emojis works on the ✅ spots and not on the ❌ spot. Like this

    ❌ First name ✅ ✅ Last name ✅

As you can see, I have my flag behind my name now. Hopefully the Heartbeat team will create a solution for this. It is a constant issue in an international community. If not, i guess we will manage regardless 😄
