Allow Members to Access Multiple Cohorts of the Same Course Simultaneously
Introduce a setting or permission structure that allows returning members (e.g., from past cohorts) to join and view a new course cohort without losing access to their original/past cohort space. Currently, Heartbeat restricts a member's view to a single cohort, meaning that if a member wants to participate in an updated course run, administrators are forced to move them out of their previous cohort group, overwriting their historic access. Grant access to concurrent or multiple cohorts of the same course so members can reference past materials while engaging with new ones.

Allow members to switch between cohorts of a course
If members are part of multiple cohorts of a course or an admin wants to give visibility to updated content in a course to old cohorts, there is currently no option to allow them to toggle between multiple cohorts of the same course if they are in the necessary access groups.

I've just faced this same issue! We've created an cohort based entry programme/ course for our members. Existing members can dip into the programme to refresh their learning etc but currently I can't see a way for them to toggle between the current and old cohort content.
