Nested docs are cut off a lot of times. It would be nice if longer text wasn't cut off somehow. There is very little space for longer text, maybe have column width customizable by dragging it, like evernote does.
The 2nd column is absolutely terrible, IMO. It's a poor use of space and gives it more of a feeling of a better Slack or even Discord. I've just shared this point on AppSumo in my review as it's my main reason that currently stops me from using Heartbeat for my community: "Instead of Heartbeat's 2 columns for eg Threads (which is very quickly super-confusing with even just 1 group/course), having the infos from the 2nd column as drop-downs and/or tabs in the main window would make a huge difference" … Lu.ma is an excellent example for making a platform like this very appealing (not only for the 2nd column)

Ines O'Donovan: I agree, it's a design UX pain in the arse. Lu.ma looks very good UX wise! Very similar to Heartbeat but improves the layout! Good suggestion!
