[Narratively] Voice Channels: let admins and moderators mute everyone in a call at once

Add Mute all for Voice Channel participants with Moderate other Members permission. Narratively runs weekday Daily Quiet Writing Hours and Weekly Tech Office Hours; individual open mics disrupt sessions. Zoom's Mute All is the suggested workaround, moving their most frequent sessions off Heartbeat. Ticket Info Community ID: dfeaf696-48ee-47df-b6a8-5e3402c41db9 (Narratively Community) User email(s) for those affected: james@narratively.com (Administrator) Issue details (include screenshots and steps taken): Mute all should mute every other participant, including guests and mobile participants, leaving the initiating moderator's mic unchanged. Reuse Moderate other Members; members without that permission must not see the action. Existing individual Mute and Kick must remain unchanged. Keeping participants muted and joining with mics off are separate requests, outside this issue. Implementation context on master: apps/heartbeat/src/features/voice/VoiceChannelMember.tsx: Mute/Kick menu gated by Permission.Moderate. apps/api/src/sockets.ts, voice/muteMember: publishes MuteSelf to one member's PubNub user channel, or the voice channel for guests. libs/heartbeat-frontend-data/src/lib/redux-middleware/handleIncomingMessages.ts: MuteSelf calls changeMuteStatus(self, true); recipients can immediately unmute. Related demand: Featurebase “Mute everyone (for admin)” has 29 votes and has been open since June 2022; Zendesk 51896 also requests bulk mute. Default-off microphones are separately requested in Zendesk 55648 and Featurebase “Mute Mic on Voice Calls by default.” Repro Current behavior: on web/desktop, a moderator joins a Voice Channel, hovers over each member in the sidebar, opens the three-dot menu and selects Mute, repeating for each person. Muted members can immediately unmute. Mobile moderators have no Mute or Kick option. Acceptance: in a call with at least three participants, including one on mobile, a moderator clicks Mute all. Every other participant's mic turns off and displays the muted icon; the moderator's mic remains unchanged. A member without Moderate other Members does not see the action.

Name your price should accept $0

Currently, if I set up $0 as my baseline price for “Name Your Price”, it’s not possible for members to complete checkout. On my other communities, I use a Woocommerce plugin called Name Your Price, which operates through Stripe and has a no-friction way to input any price including zero, in which case the person is able to bypass inputting payment information.

Please correct an error in the waitlist cancellation process

I have set up a wait list, and I signed up as a test member, using one of my own email addresses as a test member. A few weeks later, I wanted to be sure that waitlist members could cancel their spot on the waitlist, so I opened the "You're on the waitlist!" confirmation email that had been sent to that email address, and clicked on the "View" button. I’m altering the URL so that I don’t have to put identifying info in here, but it essentially took me to https://community.mydomain.com/invitation?code=ZZZZZ&email=myemail%40gmail.com#waitlist-confirmation I saw the "leave" link at the bottom of the screen (I think that's what it said... I can't remember), and I clicked on it. The screen changed to what you'll see in the attached screen shot, so the "leave" button was gone, but it still says that the member is on the waitlist. Inside of Heartbeat, in my own admin account, I do see that this member has been removed from the waitlist (moved to canceled), and I see that the user did get an email letting them know that they are no longer on the wait list, but the web page itself is telling them that they’re still on the waitlist. I'm using DuckDuckGo on Windows 11, if that matters. If we tell the users in an email that they’ve been removed from the waitlist, but tell them in the browser that they’re still on the waitlist, they’re going to know that something went wrong, and won’t know if they’ve been removed from the waitlist or not. Thank you!

Option/Ability to upload a Thumbnail on Videos

This is one of the features nearly all other platforms have that I vetted before deciding on Heartbeat and it would save so much time (vs. a workaround like making sure the first frame of my video was the thumbnail?). I’d like to be able to make my course really well branded and an awesome experience and this will help greatly!

Weekly Digest update 7-day forward window to start on (and include) the send day

The weekly digest email appears to exclude events happening on the send day itself, regardless of which day that is. For example, with a Friday send day, the digest's event window seems to run Saturday through Thursday — meaning Friday events are never included. If the send day were moved to Thursday, Thursday events would presumably be excluded instead. The send day always appears to be a "blind spot." What's needed is a true 7-day forward window that starts on (and includes) the send day, so members see all upcoming events for the full week ahead. The support team's reply will come to your email.

Custom Landing Pages Applied to Affiliate Links

Custom Landing Pages are fantastic! But to scale their impact, it would be amazing if we could apply them across affiliates. That is, if someone clicks an affiliate link, they end up on a custom landing page, that still tracks the referral.

A translation into Polish would be so, so wonderful. Bear in mind: there are 40 million Poles living in Poland and 20 million living outside of Poland ;-)

Need more customization of the sign up/landing pages

We desperately need more customization of landing pages. Removing buttons, changing location of buttons, changing titles on various buttons, placing text in different areas and different fonts. The pages should be fully customizable.
