Feature Requests

I’m surprised the Heartbeat app doesn’t have the functionality to report a post/user (pretty sure this is a requirement for Apple iOS from memory)! It’s surely a really important feature to keep communities safe too.

We use the text based channels as a group message for certain things as we have dms disabled. We would love to be able to mark these as unread.

A feature I'd love to have is anonymous posts and comments as my genre is a sensitive background. Currently using another community that has this feature

Allow the ability to toggle on/off the "Seen by" metric on threads. In terms of privacy, this would be a useful option to creators, as well as members.

Users, especially, should be able to bookmark posts that are useful to them so they can revisit to get the most out of their memberships.

Every week I pull affirmations for my members and let them choose which one resonates using the Poll option. Most week I have to shorten the affirmations because I'm only allowed a certain number of characters. This is frustrating and takes away from the experience. Can we have more characters allotted, please?

I am creating a support group for nursing students and there are definitely times when my community might want to ask a question anonymously. I thought Heartbeat had the capability to do this but I see that isn't the case, would love it as an option!

Right now threads are posted chronologically. I would love the ability to choose how posts show up in a channel: chronologically, alphabetically, or by most popular posts (with an algorithm).

Read only: users can only read and react, no comments Write only: can be used for submissions. User write and only admins or mods can view submissions
