You'll be able to turn some of your documents public, so they'll appear in search results of all major search engines. Goal here is to allow docs to serve as a lead gen hook for your community.

Hello, one of the reason i moved to heartbeat was to developp in near future a place where my courses and my community would be reunited. I would love to be able to publish articles in a blog way to avoid keeping my blog. the doc section is great but for those who write many articles it's just impossible to link them all in the menu. i could create posts instead of docs and link them to my docs but i need them to be seo friendly and public;-. is there a way to create floating "articles", seo and public , that would be linked from my docs and posted also in my my thread as a "new" . there is no emergency here but i would really like one place only to communicate with my audiance.

From a community admin: It would be ideal if the search query could include the contents of the PDF files, since the content in the file does not always match the title of the document.

When threads & docs start to get a lot of comments (and a lot of gifs), it can be a lot of scrolling to find the newest. I'd like to see a toggle/link that allows us to sort newest comments first.

Remove the ability for users to comment on Docs. Have different abilities to switch back and forth (view the doc or comment on it etc.)

The ability to drag and drop a document to put this doc inside of a "file" so that this doc will be placed right next to one another under the same category. For example: dragging and dropping a doc inside of a page that will create a "file" Branching off documents from the main source Example: Main Doc: Credit Cards Docs inside of the file: Real Estate, Travel, Gas etc. Another example: Main Doc: Food Docs inside of the file: Recipes, Meal Ideas, Nutrition, etc.

Because creator will invest 1000s of hours building content on wiki docs, HB cannot be the source of truth. Having a good export/import roundtrip (to markdown) is a big must. that would require using clean urls (and the file names being the titles). Otherwise we'd be stuck in vendor lock-in. Given how the new 'courses' functionality will use wiki docs heavily, and people building a CBC will rely heavily on these, it's time to build up the best wiki docs possible :)

To build a good markdown import/export roundtrip, it looks like the standard in 2022 is [[wikilinks]]. Right now I suspect we will get markdown links . This destroys any usefulness for import/export roundtrip. Given how the new 'courses' functionality will use wiki docs heavily, and people building a CBC will rely heavily on these, it's time to build up the best wiki docs possible :)
